Our Story

Raising the Barcode, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides at-promise youth with supplemental educational programming for college and career readiness. Our goal is to promote equitable access to education while creating and connecting students with opportunities and resources to prepare them for college and careers. Overall, we want to serve as an incubator for urban students to explore their options, support them through, and plan for after high school graduation by building a network of community partners and professionals and hosting a series of workshops, trainings, and programs.

Accountability

We take responsibility for our actions, decisions, and choices and encourage our students and partners to do the same.

Inclusion

We are committed to creating spaces where students feel safe, seen, and heard. We want students to feel comfortable embracing their creativity and have the freedom to exist authentically as they grow.

Self-development & Growth

We are constantly working to improve our existing student support services and expand our impact as we encourage youth to take advantage of new experiences and opportunities.
